Simon Feels Guilty is a children’s book about experiencing guilt and shame. In the book, children learn to accept their emotions as messengers, and how to treat themselves with kindness.

Elan wrote Simon Feels Guilty after a conversation with one of their kindergarten students. The student expressed that he constantly felt guilty and bad about himself. In order to help this student process their emotions, Elan wrote a zine, and Simon Feels Guilty was born.

Originally published as a zine in 2021, Simon Feels Guilty is making its way to publication as a bound book.
